This is a private instruction day, but we welcome auditors interested in learning more about hitching and driving a team and a single. There will be a team of Clydesdales and a single Percheron - but topics apply to any size equine!

I will be covering a wide range of topics with the two students, ranging from:

• Ground driving

• Harness adjustment / function

• Hitching / adjustment - how do I know I am hooked correctly?

• Understanding team line adjustment - fast horse / slow horse

• Line and whip handling - the role of the outside and inside line and why we drive with a whip

• Cueing verses pulling

• Driving with forward motion and focusing on precision

• Backing, fanning and docking

Cost for auditing is $35 / person / day
