Already have a driving horse? These groundwork exercises will help you fine tune your horse and will also help evaluate a horse that supposedly drives, but we are unsure of his training background.

This one-day groundwork clinic offers a mere glimpse into the first 4 - 6 of my training program of teaching a horse to drive. It all starts with a halter and lead rope. You will go home with lots of homework.

Work on the Basics Driving Clinic
It always comes back to the basics! Using patterns and obstacles, we will work on your line and whip handling, forward motion and driving with precision. Backing and fanning, transitions and speed control will challenge both you and your horse! Do one session or both! All levels of experience are welcome: I can keep it simple for the novice and challenge the more advanced!
AM group: 9:30 - noon
PM group: 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Cost for either morning or afternoon session: $75.00
Cost do to both morning and afternoon sessions: $150.00
Limited to 5 drivers per group
Horse and cart can be provided at an additional cost of $50 per session. Only one horse per session can be provided.
Auditing: $25 / day / person
Folks from out of town can add on private instructions the following Sunday if interested.
Introduction to Driving Clinic
Claudia Hrebicek is teaching a 2 day progressive clinic, featuring a safety-minded, comprehensive classroom style and hands-on harnessing, hitching and driving experience!
Cost: $250.00 / participant / weekend (includes lunch both days)
Limit: Limited to 12 participants. Must be 18.
Auditing: $25/day
