Group Driving Lessons are a great way to get your equine out and driving!
No matter the skill level of the driver or the training level of the horse, I find myself going back to the basics to be able to move forward again. These 2 hour group lessons cover the very basic skills a driver / teamster needs.
Exercises are tailored to all levels of participants.
We will focus on your line and whip handling
Driving with focus and precision.
How loss of forward motion and your horse going on the bit impacts your driving.
The difference of “driving “ your horse(s) around a corner and “pulling” them around a corner.
Cueing your horse versus pulling.
Transitions and speed control.
There will be obstacles and patterns to keep it challenging and fun!
Teams and singles are welcome.
3 Small groups allow for plenty one-on-one instruction.
Horse and cart can be provided for an additional fee.
Ground driving your trainee is an option
Limited to 3 participants per group. 3 groups.
Cost: $100.00 / participant / 2 hour group lesson
Deposit: A $50.00 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Only refundable if I can fill your spot.
